PCI Rating

PressurePave® is designed to treat pavements that are normally not suitable for conventional pavement preservation methods such as hot rubber crack seal, slurry, microsurfacing, and seal coat.  

This system allows agencies to extend the life of pavements in poor condition without having to pay for a full mill and overlay. 

In technical terms, pavement preservation products are generally designed to treat surfaces with a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) of 80 and above.  PressurePave changes that, allowing agencies to preserve pavements as low as 35 (assuming no subgrade issues).
